One Day At A Time...Views: 399

Definitely one day at a time around here. Things are ok. Crying and tears are frequent but so are laughs and memories. My niece has given us so many laughs! Babies definitely take some stress away even for a minute or two.

The pain is getting a little stronger but we have a lot of meds. It is hard because the more medicine she is on, the more confused she gets. She gets frustrated with that. She keeps telling me how sad she is that she won’t see me have children and it breaks my heart. I can’t imagine it without her. We are trying to focus on happy things. There will be a new grandchild in about 3 weeks so we hope that we will be able to smile together.

My dad and mom went down to the beach where we live and just spent time together. I think it was good for them to enjoy the sun and things that they have always enjoyed doing.

Each day is hard… Each minute is hard… My mom is the strong one that keeps us all smiling and appreciating each other!

Thank you for ALL of your kind words. They mean so much to me and to my family. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear the news. I’m glad yall are laughing and smiling-babies do make that so easy no matter what else is going on. Take each day and each minute as at comes. Know that you are surrounded with love!

Laughter and the warm sun with the sound of the water did your Mom and Your Dad good, it will give them the straight to get through this. Keep the faith. Your family is in my prayers.
Cheryl

I am so sorry to hear that there has been a sudden turn in your mothers condition. I wish I had some magical words I could say that would make things better for you. It just seems so sudden. I send you love and prayers to give you strength to get thru this difficult time.

Good to hear that you are laughing! Laughter is good medicine! From one who knows, your mother will be watching over you and with you your whole life! She will never be far from you. I still talk to my grandma (I was raised by her and she was my very best friend!) Believe me I am really talking to her these days-she has been gone 3 years. You hang in there and take care
